INVITRO Embarks On DEVILDRIVER North American Tour, Completes New Video

February 27, 2008

Following a highly successful run on the Family Values tour this past summer, the Los Angeles-based quintet INVITRO now prepares itself for another massive North American trek alongside DEVILDRIVER, NAPALM DEATH, STRAIGHT LINE STITCH and 36 CRAZYFISTS. This seven-week run, which kicks off tonight (February 27),marks the band's fourth U.S. tour in support of its highly acclaimed debut offering, "When I Was A Planet", an album that blends highly infectious melodies with a unabashed punk rock attitude.

INVITRO, led by ex-SNOT and SOULFLY guitarist Mikey Doling, is unlike anything in the scene right now and their refreshing and ambitious outlook continues to turn heads across the country. The group has already toured extensively throughout the U.S. this year alongside such major acts as KORN, EVANESCENCE, SEVENDUST, STATIC-X and HELLYEAH. With their tin-foil stage antics and high energy driven performances, INVITRO are poised for world domination.

Commented Doling: "We are very excited to get back out on the road again. We had a nice break after touring all of 2007, but now it's time to really push ourselves to the very max. I have been friends with Dez (DEVILDRIVER vocalist) for 13 years and I have been close with the rest of the guys since their beginnings in the local Santa Barbara scene. Also, we are beyond excited to share the stage with the mighty NAPALM DEATH each night. I have been a devoted fan since I saw them open for SEPULTURA in 1992. I am also looking forward to hanging with 36 CRAZYFISTS.

"This is a perfect way for us to start off the year. A tour like this sets the bar extremely high and will motivate us like nothing else possibly could. The only possible downfall is that we might need liver transplants afterwards. We look forward to seeing you all soon."

INVITRO recently shot a new video for the album's title track, "When I Was A Planet", with acclaimed director Nathan Cox (LINKIN PARK, DISTURBED). Look for it to make its debut next month.
